With what White Star line had to work with back in the 1900s and to produce a vessel of this magnitude with this much detail is astounding. Sure we have our 20 deck Norwegian breakaway class ships or the Icon of the Seas but something about the old style architecture makes me like it more than these flashy colorful ships.

I like how the decor can’t decide what it is. It’s not yet art deco with clean lines. That shows up in the decade after she sank. It’s not Victorian because by 1910 the fuss of that time was giving way to “elegant, modern glam.” Victorian interiors were for grandmas. I guess this is Edwardian veering into Hollywood Regency? I also can’t get over all the painted woodwork. I uncovered that beige color of lead paint in my own 1889 house. My heart belongs to the Victorians so painted woodwork makes me want to commit violent crimes. But hey, no one asked for my opinion when designing the Titanic This ship was both a timeless work of art and a modern marvel in terms of engineering.

The one thing they got wrong is the clock on A deck on The Grand Staircase…. It is not what the original clock looked like. It was called Honor and Glory over Time and had a statue of two people on either side of the clock reaching above it.

Amazing to think this was 112 years ago. And now none of the survivors are with us anymore. There was an infant who survived (forgot her name) and she recently passed.

Hey, I love your mod and I do not want to miss it in my playthrough since I have already built on the changed settlement, but due to the "big" update yesterday, my settlers are falling/clipping through the ground and jumping up again like spiderman. Do I really need to de-install the mod and scrap all my built stuff to fix this? Might there be a way for you to check if the mod has problems due to the recent update?

The settlers are falling through the floor. This just started happening when the next gen update released. Also, this is my favorite mod that changes a settlement

Why the Celtic Irish music? The Titanic was built by a completely different culture, the men and women of Ulster who were and are proudly British. Their music is completely different from this clip. The Titanic was crewed by men and women from England, many from Southampton. The first class passengers were mainly rich Americans, second class largely English and the third class a mix of various European nations. Yes the Titanic had stopped at Queenstown to pick up just over 100 Irish émigrés but the culture playing this music had little if anything to do with the Titanic. You may as well play French music, after all the Titanic also called at Cherbourg. As a homage to the ships musicians why not play music from their portfolio of Edwardian tunes? That would be historically accurate and not an insult to the ships builders, crew and the vast majority of passengers.
